Bulma Doll Clothes
This dress was made by my sister Chrissy.
Materials:
Pink Fabric - For dress
Purple Stretchy Fabric - For scarf and socks.
White Felt - For Bulma's name.
Black Embroidery Thread - For Bulma's name.
Black or Brown Felt - For Belt.
Cotton
Velcro or Domes
Step 1 - Pattern:
There are 2 pattern peices for the dress
(front and back) and one for the
socks.
Their sizes are inside the files, if you can't scale the images to the right size to print you can draw the patterns on graph paper of the same scale. Each square of the graph paper that the patterns are drawn on is 5mm, therefore 2 squares = 1 cm, and 5 squares = approx 1 inch.
Step 2 - Dress:
Cut 1 front piece and 2 back pieces
Attach the back pieces to the front by sewing accros the shoulders.
Fold over and sew down the edges of the collar and arm hole.
Sew from the underarm to the bottem of the dress
Fold over and sew down the remaining edges (the 2 back pieces should not be joined together).
Use the black embroidery thread to write Bulma's name on the white felt, cut it out and sew it onto the front of the dress.
Step 3 - Scarf:
Cut a rectangle from the purple stretchy fabric, long enough to loosley fit around Bulmas neck and wide enough to be folded in half.
Fold it in half and sew the side that is parallel to the fold. Turn through.
Attach velcro or another faster to the scarf.
Step 4 - Socks:
Cut 4 pieces from the sock pattern (2 for each sock).
Sew peices together.
Step 5 - Belt:
Cut a rectangle of felt long enough to fit around Bulma's waist with enough overlap for the velco/dome. Attach velco to the belt to fasten it.
